It sounds like something from the early 00's - late 90's... The inspiration and influence from Emperor is clear (Nightbringer also came to my mind) yet they sound very unique in their approach. The atmosphere throughout is huge and epic. The production also helps a lot in this matter. Indeed, this is the spiritual successor of Anthems... Amazing band and amazing album!

Fantastic album, which over the years has become IMPOSSIBLE to find (the 2006 version) - even to pirate it! It's great to have this, but I have one complaint: the 2006 version of Invisible Kingdom had one of my favorite guitar solos ever, and it's just not anywhere near as good or compelling on this version. A real shame. Still quite glad to have this. Please release Psychotic Sculpture and Beyond the Cursed Eclipse on BC!
